Wheat-Free & Dairy-Free Pizza

I do feel a little embarrassed as a Canadian-Napolitana woman to even post this recipe as it is far from the original taste. I've heard it said throughout my life that Naples, Napoli, is known for the best pizza in the world, and so just a disclaimer , that this recipe is incomparable to their real pizza. But, it is still delicious, and if you don't consume wheat or dairy, this recipe is for you!

Ingredients


  • Potatoes

  • Almond flour

  • Sea salt

  • Pre-cooked Tomato sauce

  • Sweet peppers

  • Onions

  • Mushrooms

  • Pitted olives

  • Basil




Directions


  1. Peel and steam potatoes.

  2. Once potatoes are steamed mash them in a bowl and add in your almond flour and sea salt to make your 'pizza dough'.

  3. On your pizza tray, place your pizza dough and spread it with your fingers towards all the sides of the tray and pat flat.

  4. Place pre-cooked tomato sauce on top.

  5. Then your shaved onions, mushrooms, peppers and olives.

  6. Put your basil on top.

  7. Place in oven for400 degrees for 30 minutes.
