Sugar-Wheat-Dairy-Egg Free Apple Pie

This pie was absolutely delicious and as good, if not better than traditional apple pie. That is a big claim I know, but it's true. The best part is that it's guilt-free, so you can enjoy this dessert as often as you like, as it isn't made with refined sugar, wheat, dairy, or eggs therefore all the ingredients are nourishing as they are nutrient-dense. I like to call this my healing pie... just in time for a healthy alternative for your thanksgiving dessert.

Ingredients


  • 3 cups of oat flour

  • 2 cups of ground almonds

  • 2 cups of maple syrup

  • A dozen apples

  • Cinnamon




Directions


  1. Combine oat flour, ground almonds, and maple syrup and mix. ( Add more maple syrup for a sweeter taste if desired).

  2. Need ingredients into a dough. Add more of the ground almonds and oat flour until dough isn't sticky.

  3. Put parchment paper or coconut oil on the bottom of your pie dish.

  4. Mold your dough to the dish.

  5. Place two thick layer of apples on top.

  6. Sprinkle cinnamon on top.

  7. Place in oven , and cook on 300 degrees F for 20-30 minutes until crust is hard.
